Brother - another gadget with no soul. There is no selling with no story. There is no web 2.0 engagement with another web 1.0 solution.
Agents are constantly being sold gadets and lame web based solutions without being told the ugly truth: That you are going to have to invest in tools and people that can help differentiate you and your listings.
I'm not going to pitch you here. I'm just telling you that stills, panos, Flash based slide shows with generic music and no heart are NOT going to sell houses.
Sorry.

I purchased a 360 mirror attachment for my Nikon back in 2002 so the technology is not new. I haven't used it in years as I believe good photography is way better than a 360 degree photo.
$999 is pretty steep for a camera that has only one use. I'd take the money and buy a good Digital SLR with a wide angle lens. Also, it appears that you also need to pay a monthly fee to be able to post your 360 photos.

Should have shown a sample or 2 in the video of what it can do.

World's First?
I cringe when I hear terms like "world's first" and "patented" for technology that has been around from 1999 to be precise.
How different is this from solutions that "were" like Remote Reality and Be Here. and current day solutions like Egg360?
One shot virtual tour technology is now child's play and mirror lenses/optics are common place, and do not warrant the publicity or coverage from a respectable source such as Inman.

How different? that's simple...Do you give short sighted man's glasses to a farsighted man? Of course not... Basic cameras are not adapted to look at a 360° or a 180° lens... and the result is often not as good as wished, or you need to spend hours correcting your panoramas...
Giroptic's electronic and optic have been developped together so that this camera does all the adjustive, corrective hard work for you : you get a perfect result even if your room is over exposed or too dark.
After that, you just have to drag and drop your pictures in the Giroptic's widget and you get your virtual tour in the minute.
So let's try It at Global Connect and see the difference...Stephanie

Ps. you are also not limited to the blackbox camera.
You can use any DSLR out there as your skills get better and demand gets higher.
I Myself would use a tripod from kaidan or similar and use stitching software as it gives the ultimate in resolution. But with todays megapixel range so high on cameras, de-warping from mirror adaptors above is quick and easy.
Regards.
